As the weather warms and Spring approaches in Eastern Australia, Eastern Spinebills gather to feed within the dense foliage of waxy leaves and nectar filled bell-shaped flowers of the Correa plant. As the birds forage, pollen is sprinkled onto their feathers, and with their agile movements through the dense green foliage, pollen is spread between flowers. This miraculous process is known as pollination and is essential for life on our Earth.
