As March brings the cool relief of Autumn, the vulnerable Glossy Black Cockatoo approaches its ever so important breeding season. Centuries in the making; the hollows of the country’s oldest eucalypts, shelter nests containing the single annual chick of these majestic birds. Cockatoo pairs mate for life and share the costly investment of raising their chick equally.
